MAJOR BREAKING NEWS

"Joe,

Today the City Administrator Brenda Colgrove received a letter of intent as required to recall the Mayor of Salisbury. This document is attached date stamped and all. The City has 7 days to process and return to me the necessary recall papers. From there I'll have 90 days to collect the required 3,500 signitures necessary to affect a recall of Barrie Parsons Tilghman. I look forward to comming days and months at the task that lies ahead, as we attempt to end wide spread corruption now taking place in all of Wicomico County. This recall should provide a monumental opportunity for the citizens and students of SU to join efforts as we all seek to improve the quality of life in Salisbury.

Thanks,
Jordan

Ladies & Gentlemen, THIS IS BIG! Although this is the beginning stage, I suggest everyone come out of the gate full speed. No slacking on this one Ladies & Gentlemen! Obviously there will be more to come and this Blog fully supports this Recall Petition and will do everything we can to make it very clear, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

COUNTY EXECUTIVE LAUNCHES CORRUPTION INVESTIGATION AUDIT

Wicomico County Executive Richard M. Pollitt, Jr., met today with the independent accounting firm of Twilley, Rommel & Stephens, P.A., the Wicomico County Sheriff, members of the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation and key county officials to formalize the audit portion of an investigation into government corruption.

Pollitt instructed that the immediate focus of the audit be on the Public Works Department particularly its Roads and Landfill operations. TR&S said that the firm will be responding rapidly with a plan to conduct the audit and the cost of implementing that plan.

Mr. Pollitt emphasized that he wants the actual work of the audit “to begin as soon as possible.” He added, “Our audit process will work hand-in-glove with the criminal investigation to root out the rotten apples and develop safeguards to protect against future violations of the public trust.”

Sheriff Mike Lewis Expects 12 To 15 Arrests

The loss to Wicomico County Taxpayers is on the rise, BIG TIME! What started out as a $400,000.00 diesel fuel and parts crime has grown throughout Wicomico County Employees and outside services to a $1,000,000.00 level.

Workers at the Landfill are cooperating but as I posted earlier, this thing seems to keep growing like a wild fire. Certainly there have been suggestions that have come in that cannot be supported but it has opened the eyes of County Executive Rick Pollitt, Sheriff Mike Lewis and the WBI.

Imagine the lack of trust these gentlemen will have in ALL departments throughout Wicomico County? That goes with Contractors and Vendors. You have to even wonder if the Old Council had anything to do with any of this? I'm NOT suggesting that any of them did. I'm simply suggesting what has to be running through everyone's mind right now.

I was told by one individual high up in Wicomico County that the biggest problem they have faced is the fact that some of the employees that came forward said they had gone to their superiors, telling them they felt someone was stealing. The problem is, those superiors were involved in the theft and that's how it never got to the Council and even the County Executive.

Fortunately certain individuals found comfort in going to Sheriff Lewis on a Sunday afternoon at his home. Mind you, Sheriff Lewis went to the WBI to expose it and they said, WE KNOW!

Sheriff said in a recent interview, "May God Have Mercy On Your Soul if we have to come to you." He went on to suggest if anyone knows anything, now is the time to let us know.

Buying Time!

John Robinson has lucked out over the States Attorney Davis Ruark situation. John Robinson's case was also scheduled to go in front of the Grand Jury yesterday but Mr. Ruark cancelled all cases, along with the Hebron Fire Department accident that ended up in the death of one woman.

John fired off a handgun in his business, (Robinson Clock & Jewelery) where fragments allegedly struck an employee.

Tick, Tick, Tick, Tick.

Whistle Blowers

I want to personally thank ALL of those individuals that have come forward to expose anything and everything they know about any wrong doing in Wicomico County. I told you they'd take care of you.

I shared this information pleading others to come forward because I happen to know things are going to get VERY rough on those who have not come forward and think they can hide.

Playing poker with Sheriff Mike Lewis is STUPID! If you think he's not coming after you, you're wrong! This case is NOT at all closed and there are still plenty of others out there who have NOT come forward.

That being said, I strongly suggest that even if you're NOT a County Employee and you're in a business related to anything that was going on, I will say it again, go to Sheriff Lewis, Rick Pollitt and or send me a e-mail like some have done already and I will make sure it gets to the proper people.

I must also admit, I'm amazed at all the favors that have gone on for so many years to people personally and while they may have been able to get away with it in the past, ALL of it is coming out now and Sheriff Lewis is going to go after those people who stole from the County.

This means labor, supplies, you know what I'm talking about IF you're involved. I'm telling you, come forward before your life gets miserable!

Happy Anniversary Barrie Tilghman

You see, it was two years ago I sent a "private e-mail" to the Mayor, frustrated because she refused to answer my questions. It was the infamous, "You're not only a waste of my time, you're a waste of good sp_rm."

Obviously the Mayor and I have not seen eye to eye very often but in her attempt to bring me down, she announced a Press Conference and asked the Public to look at the nasty, hateful Blogs and we were BORN.

Do I regret making that statement? Hell No I Don't! I was a genius move on my behalf and it was stupid on the Mayors behalf to take a private e-mail and go public with it. Not only did the Mayor clearly show it did NOT offend her, she chose to share it with the entire world. That being said Barrie Tilghman, weren't you subjecting the public to the same abuse, IF it was so abusive? Hook, line & sinker!

Nevertheless, it is what it is and today we have soared past The Daily Times Circulation. Granted, I have toned it down quite a bit but sometimes you have to fight fire with fire.

I can't wait to write a book!

Will The Attorney General Recommend The Ruark Case Go To The Senate?

Quoting the Daily Times, the gun is a misdemeanor charge. However, there are serious consiquences already recognized by Maryland Law in place.

CONSTITUTION OF MARYLAND

Barrieland's Latest Lie - "It's for the Seniors"

Since the first Clinton administration, "It's for the children.", has reigned as the all purpose cover-up for wasting taxpayers' money. With their backs up against the wall, again, Salisbury Mayor Barrie Tilghman's "council leadership" of Louise Smith, Gary Comegys and Shanie Shields plucked the taxpayer yet again crying, "It's for the seniors!". The infamous Sassafras Meadows property received another $320,000 subsidy from Salisbury's citizens.

Isn't affordable housing for Salisbury's seniors important? Of course it is. When other projects come before Salisbury council you probably won't here a peep from citizens. But you need to remember that the citizens of Salisbury have now agreed to pay out over $1 million in subsidies to this one parcel.
t
"Wait, I read that the subsidy was only $287,000!" That's what you read the Daily Times. It's not inaccurate, but it only tell part of the story.

The Tilghman administration, with the consent of Comegys, Shields, and the balance of the old "Dream Team", borrowed almost $900,000 to reimburse the owners of the Sassafras Meadows parcel for running water and sewer out to the property. REMEMBER, the agreement to give the property water and sewer was based on the promise that almost 300 units of affordable senior housing would be built. The developers simply took a big bag of cash from the city and left town.

The property's new owner, Tom Ruark, basically laughed at Councilwomen Debbie Campbell and Shanie Shields when he was reminded of the past commitment. Why not? Mayor Tilghman had already stacked the deck by allowing the water and sewer lines to be run without having annexed the property first. What did Ruark care? He had a piece of property with water and sewer. He basically dared the city not to annex. Of course when it came time to pay out the developer reimbursement, Shanie was right in line doing what her slumlord masters told her to do. Perhaps Mrs. Shields will one day understand that Lincoln freed the slaves and she can move off the plantation.

Now Salisbury's taxpayers are supposed to add another $320,000 to the pot. "It's for the seniors!".

If the Wicomico County Council is foolish enough to sign on, we will be adding another $320,000 to the subsidy. This will bring the total to almost $1.5 million! But don't worry, "It's for the seniors!".

I don't know what the cost per unit will be to the developer, but the total subsidies to this property will now amount to around $19,000 per unit. "It's for the seniors!".

What would be an equitable solution? Simple. Force the developers to live up to their word! I forgot, we're talking about Barrieland.

Billy Keeps Screwing Up

While Billy Duvall is picking at straws to say anything to get attention, his charges about Shanie Shields are wrong. That goes for the rest of you still spreading this untrue rumor.

"If previous reports to the effect that Shields no longer lives in the district from which she was elected are correct, she is, by virtue of the ecpress terms of the City Charter, not qualified to be a member of the Council. Ergo, her vote for the Sassafras Giveaway was, in legalese, void ab initio, the legal vote was 2 to 2, and the giveaway failed."

I replied:

If you got off you old lazy ass and drove by her house in the evening you would CLEARLY see she still lives there. IF you actually spoke to Shanie Shields you'd come to learn the progress she has had in keeping that home rather than losing it.

I would think by now, considering you're a regular to my Blog you'd know I'm no fan of Shanie Shields politics but to set rumors like this and create an article on such stupidity simply proves you're too old for Blogging.

A Comment Worth Posting

"The Daily Times had a query in the "Hey You" section regarding Transparency in government. Herewith are my thoughts:

The city government in Salisbury loves and encourages transparency---Tonite's (Feb. 25) city council meeting was an excellent case in point-perfect to illustrate this principle. When council woman Cohen raised this very issue regarding the closed session to follow, it went straight to the business as usual 3-2 vote. Why was there no more discussion before a vote? Why wasn't the atty. Wilbur queried? Not that it would have made any difference . The majority on the council in addition to the mayor, Wilbur, Oland, Pick are a disgusting bunch. I do have to say however--more citizens need to become enlightened about what is going on. And make their voices heard come petition time and voting time.
Kudos to the lady who asked for the mayor to step down and for the other public comments."
