That was a depressing first post of the day, to read!

if Rick Konrad is involved, it will be screwed up. Another one that needs to go.

It was especially depressing to see that Rick Konrad is still around and involved.

Governments sure do waste a lot of money on "remote possibilities" and toys for 'first responders' (can you say fire boat?)

"Corpse Wagon" is what they were called in the old days.
If the gangs of Salisbury get into a real turf war they city is going to need it! Oh, that's right, we have very little crime, sorry.

All I can say is give me strength, what the hell else are they going to come up with. If only they would remember the old saying, waste not, want not.

Explain to me what the need is for this. If you are a casualty you are dead. If you are one of many casualties then there are bigger issues than what to do with your dead body.

What a disgusting abuse and waste of money.

Hire me to be the driver. Pay me $60 grand a year and when you call I'll be their

Makes you wonder......

Does Culver know about this? He needs to go have a talk with Konrad.

Under Maryland EMS protocols a mass casualty incident is any incident that the number of patients exceeds the resources available immediately. The trailer would have resources and personnel responding to make up the difference. Typically volunteers. The definition of a casualty is a person injured or killed. Get some education you cretins.

When Washington starts killing people

Is this a joke for April Fool's Day? Sounds like something the mayor would think of.

buy more ammo while it last people

It's for the imminent Ebola Virus outbreak. Tsk tsk how soon they forget

Dover AFB is close enough if we have mass casualties, that is what their morgue was built to provide.

Have a talk with Konroad? He needs to get rid of Konrad!!!

They just need to have a guy walking the streets hauling a wooden cart yelling "Bring out Yer Dead !" Just like on Monty Python.

Perhaps I am missing something here. Is the bid to purchase or to sell a Mass Casualty Trailer?

Dumb, dumb, dumb. Bob get a hold of this kind of goings on in this county. That's why we elected you.

A Mass grave is cheaper.

10:58 first one - that is what I meant about "having a talk". I agree the guy is incompetent and needs to go. Another Pollitt pity appointee.

LOL 9:54-You are the one who needs to be educated. No one was inquiring as to the definition-no one at all. Reading comprehension escapes you.
You must be part of EMS. You all like to spend money. It's a damn shame you care so little for your children's future-A damn shame. Some of us actually do care about our children and question why the money needs to be spent on this.

EMS gets all of this grant money that could go to things actually used on a day to day basis, but gets spent on this mess that will never get used. If it does, it will only be one or two times.

Culver, get this under control! This is why you were elected! Shipley needs to go.

There's not a giant RV at the hospital for the injured, and giant trucks at the city and national guard for the dead?

Anonymous said...

If Rick Konrad is involved, I'm sure he already has his vendor picked out.

Another waste of tax money it never ends with people on the publics pay roll they seem to think their job is to invent ways to spend more money.Bob Culver has a lot more house cleaning to do.

Anonymous said...

What's the chances of really needing this trailer? I'm sure they have trailers that are not being used that they could convert for less. Take that bus and make it earn its keep. Turn it into the corpse wagon.

Anonymous said...

To many toys that cost to much that never get used.

Anonymous said...

Actually Konrad can't take credit for this, the department of EM requested and wants it. Konrad only puts out the bid.

Anonymous said...

12:40 why Shipley?

Anonymous said...

7:04 he likes to spend money and doesn't care about his staff ask 911 operators. He only cares about himself. Kind of reminds me of Barney on the Andy Griffith show.

I would think Rick is just the contact and the County Council is the one requesting. Ask a Council Member or Bob Culver what it is all about before shipping Rick to the wolves for doing the job he was told to do.

9:26 - It's the EMS department requesting this, 7:28 hits the nail on the head why Shipley needs to go, another spend heavy liberal who buys crap like this, completely unneeded
